PVC封边条基材由PVC 树脂、碳酸钙粉及各种辅料（稳定剂、 DOP 油、 ACR 、硬脂酸、碳白粉、色粉、抗老化剂等）组成。封边条的修边效果与基材配料比例有关。pvc封边条的主要成分为聚氯乙烯，经混炼、压延、真空吸塑等工艺而成的。产品普遍应用于家具、办公、厨具、教学设备、民用实验室等。厚度从0.3至3mm，宽度从12mm至80mm。产品有以下主要特点：表面平滑、无起泡、无拉纹、光泽度适中、表面和背面平整、厚度均匀、宽度一致、硬度合理、弹性高、质量好、耐磨性强、修边后封边侧面颜色与表面颜色接近、不发白、光泽度好、家具成品整体色协调。
