1、首先是清扫基层，填补缝隙，石膏板面接缝处需贴接缝带、补腻子；
2、刮腻子磨平，在基层处理时，必须清理干净、平整、光滑；
3、涂刷防潮剂，防潮涂料应涂刷均匀，不宜太厚；
4、裁纸、涂胶，可用铅垂线在墙面上标明壁纸的幅面宽度；
5、上墙裱糊、拼缝、搭接，将壁纸贴在墙面上，边缘对齐，用橡胶滚将墙面擀平，赶压胶粘剂气泡；修整，用壁纸刀将天花、墙裙和窗户等处多余的壁纸裁掉，并擦净胶
