FMC-GES-PoE系列是10/100/1000BASE-TX转为1000BASE-X的转换器（也可以强制到100BASE-FX模式），允许这两种类型的网段轻松连接。遵守IEEE802.3at或IEEE802.3af标准，AC/DC供电的POE光纤收发器是一种电源设备(PSE)，它将通过光纤链路传输的数据与48V(或其他电压)的电源相结合后通过CAT5e/CAT 6 UTP网络线缆(长度可达100米/330英尺)向IEEE802.3at或IEEE802.3af供电装置(PD)供电。
该光纤收发器包括单端口PSE控制器，该控制器提供PD信号感测和功率监控特征。其他功能包括过流保护、LFP功能等。
The FMC-GES-POE series is a 10/100/1000Base-TX to 1000Base-FX (also can be forced to 100Base-FX) media converter, which allows two types of network segment to be connected easily. Complied with IEEE802.3at or IEEE802.3af standard, the AC/DC powered PoE media converter is a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) which combines data transfered over a fiber optic link with 48V (or other voltage) power supply, providing power to IEEE802.3at or IEEE802.3af powered device (PD) over CAT5e/CAT6 UTP cable (cable length up to 100meters / 330feets).
The converter includes a single port PSE controller, which offers PD signature sensing and power monitoring features. Other features include over-current protection, LFP function, etc. The LFP (Link Fauit Pass-through) allows the media converter to monitor both the fiber and copper RX port for loss of signal. In case of a loss of RX signal on one media port, the converter will automatically disable the TX signal to the other media port, thus passing through the link fault.

The FMC-GES-POE series is a 10/100/1000Base-TX to 1000Base-FX (also can be forced to 100Base-FX) media converter, which allows two types of network segment to be connected easily.
