1，首先，把钻孔和阀门连接好，将阀门全部打开，然后手动旋转套筒，把钻头慢慢输入底部。
2， 再将手电钻（手动摇把）安装在打孔机顶端，按顺时针进行钻孔。
3，操作时听到切削声音，慢慢操作，这样既安全，钻头又不易损坏，随着钻杆进给深度，套筒也跟着慢慢更紧，套筒必须专入操作。 4，快钻透时，由于钻头接触面不平，容易卡刀发现卡刀时，钻杆套筒回转一下，然后再慢慢进刀。钻透后卸下手电钻（手动摇把），然后反转套筒，把钻头退到打孔机钻体内。
5，关闭阀门，卸下水钻，施工完毕。
