１.磨前刀石放在水中浸泡3分钟，充分吸透水，磨时取出。
２.刀石呈长向放置，刀与刀石呈约15度角。斩骨刀30度左右
３.手的握法：左手食指和无指按住刀中上部，右手握住刀柄后部。
４.刀具在刀石上呈长向，前后推拉，关键注意：磨刀后期向前推时不要用力按，切忌用力按，向后拉时用力向下按。
如果向前推时用力，会将刀锋磨掉。。
５.刀具要磨得锋芒必露，在磨的过程中，两面相互反复磨，边磨边观察，刀口上会出现一层芒，芒磨出后，才有锋。锋芒必露，是这个原理
