工作原理: 紫光管的工作原理和普通照明用荧光灯相同，其差异仅在于，紫光灯管所使用的荧光粉在254nm短波紫外线辐射激发下产生主峰为365nm的不可见的长波紫外线辐射。由于使用玻璃管不同，可分为两大类。一类是使用不透可见光的紫黑玻璃管，这类灯管发出的主峰为365nm的近紫外线辐射，波长范围为300-400nm。另一类使用普通玻璃管（即：普通黑光灯），其发出的辐射中除了365nm的长波辐射外,还有400nm附近的可见蓝光.后一种灯的应用范围较小，大都用于诱虫。
