2、基本尺寸：全长mm:285±2.5。斧头长度mm：160±2.5。斧头厚度mm：10±1。
平刃宽度mm：56±1.5。柄刃宽度mm：22±1。撬口宽度mm：30±1。撬口深度mm：25±1。
3、外观：腰斧各刃部抛光，其表面粗糙 度Ra值≤6. 3 u m；
腰斧金属表面平整光洁，无裂纹、毛刺、凹痕、缺损或有 害杂质缺陷，涂漆部分无 流痕、气泡等缺陷；橡胶斧柄套无碎渣、气泡、孔 隙、夹杂物及其它明显缺陷，表面花纹应清晰。
4、质量 质量0.75±0.25kg，
5、硬度要求：腰斧各刃部和撬口均热处理，且其硬度均达到48HRC-56HRC,刃部热处理长度不小于20mm且不大于40mm,撬口热处理长度不小于 5mm且不大于10mm。
6、抗冲击性能：腰斧各刃部经5kg的重锤冲击后无裂纹、变形等损伤。
7、平刃砍断性能：腰斧平刃能砍断直径≥6. 5mm的Q235A圆钢，无明显缺刃、卷边和裂纹等影响使用功能的损伤。
8、尖刃和柄刃凿击性能：腰斧尖刃和柄刃能凿击Q235A钢 平板，无明显缺刃、卷边和裂纹等 影响使用功能的损伤
9、耐腐蚀性能：腰斧的金属部分经GB/T 10125- 1997规定的48h中性盐雾试验后， 外观符合GB 6461 -2002外观等级 评定轻微级的要求。
消防腰斧的标志符合 GB/T 5305-1985 的规定。
10、腰斧表面具有防静电耐腐蚀涂层，每把腰斧有配套的腰斧套可以挂载在腰带上。
