MS-3系列微波消解COD测定仪适用于环境监测中对各种水体进行化学需氧量的、总磷、总氮的消解。仪器及配套方法经中国环境监测总站组织国内十多家实验室对各类污水及标准样进行协同试验和验证，并通过由国家环保总局主持的科技成果鉴定，其鉴定报告指出：“该成果为国内外首创，在同类研究工作中属国内领先水平。建议将该方法作为水质监测CODcr快速分析方法。对于未知废水样经过对比试验，证明与标准方法可比，即可作为等效方法使用。”该技术被列入1996年国家环保最佳实用技术推广项目，还获得二项国家专利。
