   玫瑰是耐旱怕涝的植物，旱生植物几乎都是怕涝植物，如果是盆栽就要用无釉陶土盆栽培，严格把握“不干不浇，浇则浇透”的原则;
   如果频繁给玫瑰浇水（特别忌讳在湿度大蒸发量少的阴雨天过度浇水），玫瑰的根就会犹如做“腌泡菜”般被泡烂（和水培原理有本质区别）而死亡

   任何植物都只喜欢清淡的施肥，施予浓肥（特别是化肥）会导致局部烂根而死亡。
根据植株和盆的大小，每1-1.5个月用20-40粒复合肥(或氮化肥)均匀地施于盆边1寸土下，或者每月浇一至二次经充分发酵的淘米水等清淡的水肥。只要叶绿花艳生长状态良好就无需再施肥

   在室内栽培植物，不能长期置于光线不足的厅室里，要不定期经常抬到有阳光的地方去补充光照

玫瑰应栽植在通风向阳及浇灌、排水条件好的田间、地边的肥沃壤土中，栽植前在树穴内施入适量有机肥，栽后浇透水。地栽玫瑰对水肥要求不严，根据植株需求合理浇水施肥，喷施新高脂膜保肥保墒。

夏季施肥要勤，每隔15~20 天需施一次，施肥后应及时浇 水，以防烧苗。花蕾期喷施花朵壮蒂灵，可促使花蕾强壮、花瓣肥大、花色艳丽、花香浓郁、花期延长。秋季要修剪，以防徒长，影响开花和株型美观。玫瑰多蚜虫，要注意防治。冬眠期可配施底肥、灌好越冬水，为来年花蕾的稳产高产奠定基础。
