岸电箱的材料能适应沿海高湿热盐雾空气环境，门板采用厚度不低于3.0mm的304不锈钢板，箱体采用厚度不低于3.0mm的304不锈钢板，底角槽钢采用12#不锈钢槽钢制作、涂层厚度不小于15μm。
绝缘零部件应采用耐久、阻燃、耐湿热和耐霉变的材料。
