特 性：金相组织属于马氏体型钢，生产工艺要求较高，国内能生产不锈钢440C的企业比较少，所以能生产440C材料的企业常常被冠以特殊不锈钢的美誉。热处理工艺比较复杂，易开裂，且精度要求较高，是钢球中最硬的一款不锈钢球：HRC≧58。硬度接近轴承钢球，但比后者有更强的防锈、防腐性能。
比 较：较440不锈钢球有更强的防锈、防腐性能，硬度增强，耐磨性也随之提高。
