DH-300 High Pure Hydrogen Generator

 

 

1.Brief introduction 

 

DH-300 High Pure Hydrogen Generator mainly consists of electrolytic cell unit, electronic control unit (including switch power, pressure flowrate automatic adjustment, and flowrate display), gas route unit (including gas-liquid separation unit, pressure indicator, and gas purifier) and etc. Electrolytic cell unit is barrel structure, which adopts advanced film penetration technology, and liquid level difference automatic circulation approach. The working principle of it is: Under an electric field, the anode of electrolytic cell generates oxygen, while the cathode of the electrolytic cell generates hydrogen. The oxygen is discharged to the atmosphere via the liquid route, while the hydrogen enters into purification system and then it is to be sent out. When the hydrogen pressure rises up to the set value, the pressure control system will automatically adjust the hydrogen usage volume to a stable state according to the gas chromatography instrument. And the hydrogen generated equals to the hydrogen output . The unique gas-liquid separation device of the Hydrogen Generator can ensure the effective separation between the gas and liquid, and send the liquid back to the liquid container automatically under the pressure effect, and there is no returned alkali.

III. Features

IV. Installation

 

1. Open the box

 

Take out the machine from the box, and check if there is damage on the surface, and check the spare parts and certificate of quality with the list.

 

2. Installation environment

 

The Machine should be installed on a safe work platform without vibration. It should be installed in the environment without dust and corrosive gas. Its working environment is 10℃～40℃; Relative humidity ≤85%; Power: 220V±10%; 50HZ. or 110V±10% 60HZ

 

3. Start

 

Put up electrolytic solution: Using 500ml distilled water to dilute the 100g analytical reagent KOH. When the KOH dissolves in the solution and the solution is cooling down, put it into container, then add more distilled water to the up limit of the scale (the liquid infuse mouth is at the top of the machine, and then, take off the small cover and then infuse the liquid).  

 

Connect the power cable of the machine, and switch on the power. The flowrate should be displayed  on the screen of the machine as:  300～350

 

It indicates that the machine is started. Turn off the machine after five minutes, and use airproof screw cap to seal the hydrogen outlet. And then start the machine again, the output pressure will increase gradually until it reaches the rated pressure （0.3Mpa）. The flowrate should be “000”, it indicates the machine works normal, otherwise, there might be leaking in somewhere, if so, please use the soap solution to check the leaking place and fix it.

 

 

 

After above procedures, usingФ3 tube to connect it with Gas chromatgraphy instrument. After finishing the daily operation, you can turn of the power.

 

 

 

V. Cautions

 

1. The hydrogen flowrate displayed on the screen is converted from the electrolytic current, so it may have slight change. It is normal that the change is within ±10 (since the hydrogen is outputted after it has been buffered in the purification tube, its flowrate is stable).

 

2. You can check the colour of colour-change silica gel by watching it from the side of the machine, and replace the silica gel if it is necessary. When you change the silica gel, you have to turn off the power, and after its pressure goes down to zero. Spin off the silica gel clockwise on the sideboard of the machine, spill off the silica gel for aging. Install the silica gel by spin on it anti-clockwise, and ensure that it is sealed. (Note: replace the Molecular sieves after replacing 4～5 times of silica gel)

 

3. The electrolytic solution will be consumed when the machine generates the hydrogen, the distilled water should be added regularly according to the real situation and to ensure that the liquid level is in between the up and bottom limit. (the machine does not consume the KOH when it is electrolysing. You only need to supplement the distilled water. It is suggested that you change the electrolytic solution every year.
